Chichester Business Improvement District is delighted to launch its first Christmas Treasure Hunt! Festive images make up the ‘treasures’ to be found on the pavements outside 12 locations around the City Centre and those who find them all will be entered into a prize draw to win £200 of toys from Whirligig in South Street!
A list of Treasure Hunt locations can be found in the Christmas Festivities leaflets, available from most city centre outlets (or you can download a PDF below). All Treasure Hunt entries will be included automatically in the free prize draw to win £200 worth of toys from Whirligig.
The pavement images were created by local company Urban Tags using high pressure washers – an innovative and environmentally friendly application and this is the first time this has been used within Chichester. The high pressure washers literally remove dirt from the pavement, leaving the intended image or message as the cleanest part of the pavement.
Kim Long, Chichester BID Events and Projects Coordinator comments: “I was thrilled when Urban Tags presented this method to me – it’s such an innovative and clean way of applying messages, whether for safety or directional signage and because they fade within a couple of weeks, they’re perfect for our city centre campaigns. Using water, the application is 100% environmentally friendly, so our beautiful city remains in-tact and with Christmas imminent on our schedule, it seemed an ideal opportunity to try them out.”
All entries must be submitted via the Chichester Christmas Festivities leaflet, available in various city centre outlets – before 8pm on Thursday 18th December 2014. Further details and Terms and Conditions can be found on the leaflets and listed here.
