Taking the City’s maintenance into his own hands

| June 2015

Andrew Finnamore, Chairman of the Chichester BID, and his brother clean up our City centre.

WIth West Sussex County Council failing to pay for the maintenance and upkeep of our City centre, Andrew Finnamore decided to take matters into his own hands last week (quite literally!) and spent time cleaning up our City’s overgrown bits of grass, hedges and shrubbery.

The BID’s Chairman commented:

“It’s letting our visitors down …. someone has got to take responsibility as there is no longer a contract in place at West Sussex County Council”.

This unprompted act of commitment to our City centre shows how much Andrew cares and that his dedication remains strong, despite lack of input from WSCC.
