Santa’s Missing Sack Christmas Trail

We are thrilled to present a magical adventure that invites families to embark on a quest to save Christmas.

Sponsored by Howden Insurance, from Saturday 25 November until midday on Sunday 24 December, families can go on a free trail to find Santa’s missing sack of toys with the help of the Chichester Christmas Light Characters.

Not only will families have lots of fun following the clues around the city and cracking the code left by Santa’s five festive friends, there’s also a fantastic reward at the end – a chance to win a Nintendo Switch Console and a £50 Chichester Gift Card!

How to Take Part

To participate in this exciting adventure and have a chance to win the amazing prizes, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Gather Your Team

Gather your friends and family and make your way to Little London in Chichester. The adventure begins at Howden Insurance, where you’ll find your first clue and a letter for the Christmas Code Breaker. Your journey to save Christmas begins here.

Step 2: Follow the Clues

Set off on an adventure around Chichester city centre, visiting five other locations in a specific order. At each location, you’ll spot a Christmas light character and a special clue. Collect the letters hidden within these clues.

Step 3: Crack the Code

Once you’ve collected all six letters, it’s time to put your detective skills to the test. Decode the letters and complete the Christmas Code Breaker, which, together with the final clue, will help guide you to Santa’s missing sack.

Step 4: Submit Your Entry

Fill out the entry form on the trail map and post it at the designated post box at the final destination on your journey. All entries must be submitted by midday on Sunday 24 December.

1. When you successfully find Santa’s missing sack, take a festive selfie with our special board.
