Join us for a fun half day workshop with Fiona of Sewgirl fame! Her Cross Body Bag is a fabulous design featuring an ergonomic zip up style with a base panel, lovely quilted stitch detailing and an adjustable strap. It is the ideal size to hold a multitude of things. It’s a really useful little holdall for around town, festivals or simply popping to the shops. Worn snugly across the front of the body, this a stylish bag that is designed for both comfort and practicality.

About your Teacher: Fiona Hesford of Sewgirl is a marvel of a woman! She is a pattern maker, a seamstress, a fashion designer who can often be seen on Sewing Street TV.

Class Size: Maximum of 8

Skills: Intermediate sewing ability.

Materials: You will need to provide:

• 30cm of outer fabric – medium to lightweight cotton, denim, corduroy, or lightweight water-resistant fabric.
• 30cm of lining fabric – medium to lightweight cotton.
• Strap – 1.5m of cotton or polyester bag strap webbing 25mm wide
• 1 x 30cm zip
• Matching thread

All items are available to purchase in the shop on the day but please feel free to bring your own! We will provide all the other bits and bobs needed.

Bag size: approx 35cm (14”) wide x 16cm (6 ½”) deep and has a 10cm (4”) base

Venue: The workshop is held in our modern and vibrant studio at the Clothkits shop. We are located in central Chichester, about a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. The closest car park is The Cattle Market.
