DESCRIPTION:Join us for a four-course feast celebrating everything that is wonderful about Slow Food and the Slow Food movement. Inspired by Claire Thomson’s cookbooks\, the menu will champion seasonal ingredients from Charles Dowding no dig allotment\, and the deep connection between food and the soil beneath our feet. \nAlongside Claire Thomson and Charles Dowding\, we’re delighted to welcome Tom Brown\, who will share his insight into how and why great food begins with healthy soil\, and Nelly Hall\, who will be talking about growing in greenhouses with Tom – a brilliant conversation for anyone interested in cultivating and cooking food the Slow Food way. \nThis event is a particularly meaningful way to begin 2026\, as we start raising funds for Slow Food UK – our new chosen charity.
