DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Summer season’s drop-in Life Drawing workshops\, being held in the Gallery spaces from 6-8pm as part of our Thursday Late events on: \n16 July 2026  \n17 September 2026  \n15 October 2026  \nExperienced tutor Wendy Barratt\, Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2023\, will be based in the main exhibition gallery inviting you to take a seat\, grab a drawing board and enjoy drawing from life models in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. \nYou do not need to book for these Life Drawing sessions as they are included in your Thursday Late admission ticket and are drop-in. \nDuring Thursday Lates the Gallery is open until 8.30pm once a month (apart from our exhibition changeover months of May and November). You can take in our collection and exhibitions after hours and enjoy expert talks\, tours and drop in creative activities in the galleries. Pallant Café will be open serving a selection of food and drink and the Bookshop will be open to browse fabulous art books.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a laid-back Studio session where you’ll have the chance to sketch and enjoy a drink or two in a friendly and informal environment\, supported by one of our experienced artist educators. \nWe will set up the studio tables with a selection of interesting items\, flowers\, fruits etc for you to arrange and sketch in whatever way you choose. \nEveryone is welcome and we actively encourage those with no drawing experience to join us and have a go! DESCRIPTION:Join one of our experienced Guides for a tour of the collection in the historic house. \n\n\nExplore Pallant House Gallery with one of our guides and let them share their knowledge and passion for the artists and works in our collection. They will take you on a journey through Modern British art from 1900 to the present day and give you the opportunity to experience highlights of the collection on display\, such as Barbara Hepworth’s Figure (Walnut) (1964) and Michael Andrews’s Thames Painting: The Estuary (1994–5). \nTours will last approximately 40 minutes and there is a limit of 15 participants.  \nThe tour will not cover the temporary exhibitions. \nFree with admission. \nEvery Saturday.

DESCRIPTION:Bring your baby and enjoy a relaxed tour of the Gallery with a member of our curatorial team. \n\n\nEach tour will focus on a different theme\, including the works in our permanent collection and our temporary exhibitions. \n  \nThursday 25 June 2026: Our Permanent Collection \nIn this introduction to Pallant House Gallery\, you will get the chance to learn more about our permanent collection and explore some of our most iconic works. \nThursday 3 September 2026: British Landscapes: A Sense of Place and Haroun Hayward: Path through Trees \nEnjoy discovering more about some of the key works in these two related exhibitions that explore how artists have captured the landscapes of Britain through paint\, print and sculpture. \nThursday 22 October 2026: Pop and the Figure \nExplore how social liberation\, advertising culture\, and rising consumerism in the 1950s–60s were reflected in Pop art. This exhibition highlights the era’s renewed focus on the human figure and the key artists who shaped the movement. \nOur Babes in Arms guided tours will last around 45 minutes and are for those with infants and babies not yet on the move. Seating will be available and a floor mat will be provided for babies. We can accommodate a limited number of prams and push chairs and you are also welcome to bring a sling or floor mat of your own if you prefer. \nTicket price includes access to all exhibitions. \nTicket holders are invited to arrive early and enjoy 10% off in the Cafe before the Babes in Arms guided tour. Café opens at 10am. \n\n

They will take you on a journey through Modern British art from 1900 to the present day and give you the opportunity to experience highlights of the collection on display\, such as Barbara Hepworth’s Figure (Walnut) (1964) and Michael Andrews’s Thames Painting: The Estuary (1994–5). \nTours will last approximately 40 minutes and there is a limit of 15 participants.  \nThe tour will not cover the temporary exhibitions. \nFree with admission. \nEvery Saturday.

DESCRIPTION:Join one of our experienced Guides for a tour of the collection in the historic house. \n\n\nExplore Pallant House Gallery with one of our guides and let them share their knowledge and passion for the artists and works in our collection. They will take you on a journey through Modern British art from 1900 to the present day and give you the opportunity to experience highlights of the collection on display\, such as Barbara Hepworth’s Figure (Walnut) (1964) and Michael Andrews’s Thames Painting: The Estuary (1994–5). \nTours will last approximately 40 minutes and there is a limit of 15 participants.  \nThe tour will not cover the temporary exhibitions. \nFree with admission. \nEvery Saturday.
