SUMMARY:Summer Art Club Children’s Workshop at Pallant House Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Haroun Hayward: Path Through Trees and British Landscapes: A Sense of Place\, come and celebrate the wonders of nature by crafting your own unique fabric tree\, using colourful textiles and other materials to bring it to life. \nIn this hands-on workshop\, participants will develop their textile collage skills by working in 3D. They will be using strips of fabric\, pipe cleaners and other decorative materials to create an expressive and unique tree sculpture\, guided by creative discussion and inspiration from the exhibition. \nParticipants will then have the opportunity to place all trees together in a forest photo\, before leaving with their own colourful and one-of-a-kind tree to display at home. \nFor children aged 7+.
