SUMMARY:Hand-Build Berry Bowl & Plate Workshop at Biscuit Pottery
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a summer workshop thinking about salads and fruits from the garden. Using stoneware clay you will make a beautiful berry bowl and draining plate. Perfect for rinsing or serving salads and fruits at the table or BBQ. \nYour Berry bowl will be be bisque fired and dipped in your choice of smoke\, green tea or raspberry mist glaze but if you would like to be creative and decorate your own pot\, you can return for a 2 hour glazing session for an additional cost of £20 We have a wide range of brush on glazes that you can combine and explore. \nSuitable for adults and older children. Price includes all materials\, glaze\, firing and refreshments on the day. \nYour finished artwork will be ready for collection in approximately 4-8 weeks depending on our firing schedule. \nThis workshop costs £45 and can be booked here.

Then\, she’ll walk you through assembling the pages\, adding a sturdy cover\, and even incorporating a handy back pocket. \nWhether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned stitcher\, this project is both fun and rewarding and an ideal way to showcase your creativity while keeping your sewing essentials in one charming place! \n\n\nAbout your Teacher: Christine Leech is the creative brains behind the brand Sewyeah designing joyful and colourful 100% wool felt embroidery kits. Christine learned embroidery from her Mum and Nan when she was very small\, winning first prize for ‘Best Hemmed Hankechief’ in the local horticultural show when she was just 5 years old! Since then her crafting career has seen her write 12 craft books on everything from pompoms to paper craft and of course embroidery\, appear as an expert on two Channel 4 craft series and launch a successful embroidery membership club.Class Size: Maximum of 10 \nSkills: Suitable for total beginners and those with stitching experience! \nMaterials: A choice of 100% wool felt\, embroidery threads and bead & sequin packs will be available for purchase on the day from your tutor.
