When the Christmas lights go on, the celebrations are only just getting started!
Following Chichester’s Christmas Lights Switch-On at 5pm, head into the city and make an evening of it with the Light Up Chichester After Party.
From mulled wine and mince pies to live music, DJs, festive cocktails, food and family-friendly fun, venues across Chichester are joining the celebrations with something special for the evening.
Here’s what’s happening:
The Ghost at the Feast
5pm–midnight
Christmas music, mulled wine and festive food. Families welcome, with the party continuing until late.
Trents
Hot chocolate, with live music from 8.30pm.
The Foundry
Mulled wine, cheeseboards, Christmas cocktails and shots.
The Old Cross
Warm up with a mulled wine – with takeaway mulled wine available too.
Room 12
Through the Decades from 9pm–3am, plus Christmas cocktails and shots.
The Fountain
Live band from 9pm.
Duke & Rye
Festive fun from 3pm, with mince pies and mulled wine, plus a children’s craft workshop from 3–5pm. The kitchen will serve straight through from 12–8pm, with festive bar snacks available, before a DJ takes over from 5pm.
The George & Dragon
Mulled wine, mini mince pies and festive favourites on the jukebox.
The Chichester Inn
From 5pm, settle in by the roaring fire with Christmas songs, mulled wine, mince pies and home-cooked food.
The Escapist
Mulled wine, mince pies and live music.
The Hole in the Wall
GET DOWN TO IT – DJ from 7pm.
Costa Coffee
Open until 7pm with festive samples.
Havana
Beaujolais Nouveau Night in partnership with Brighton-based wine supplier Seven Cellars.

The Christmas Lights Switch-On takes place at the Market Cross at 5pm.
