Chichester’s business community came together this week for a glittering evening of celebration at the Chichester & District Business Awards, hosted by the Chichester Observer and Sussex World in partnership with us, Chichester BID and Chichester District Council.
Held at the Minerva Theatre on Monday 3 November, the event recognised the creativity, dedication and innovation that make our district’s businesses such an integral part of local life.
We were especially proud to see so many BID Levy Area businesses recognised on the night, reflecting the strength and diversity of enterprise right here in the heart of the city:
- Fandango Digital – Business Community Contribution Award
- Blue Spire Ltd – Professional Services Business of the Year and Best Customer Service Initiative
- Winter’s Moon – Small Independent Business of the Year
- Q Hair and Beauty – Sustainable Business of the Year
- The Ghost at the Feast – Start Up or New Business of the Year and Tourism, Hospitality or Retail Business of the Year
While just outside the city centre, Cowdray Farm Shop, CafĂ© and Lifestyle also received a well-deserved award for Large Independent Business of the Year – and we’re thrilled that Cowdray will soon be joining the BID area with the opening of Little Cowdray at Fernleigh later this month.
The awards showcased the creativity and collaboration that continue to drive Chichester forward – qualities that were also captured beautifully in our new video, which premiered during the evening.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists — and to every local business whose hard work and vision keep Chichester’s city centre thriving.
