The Qatar Goodwood Festival, affectionately known as Glorious Goodwood, is one of the undisputed highlights of the British horseracing season and summer social calendar. Each year during the five-day festival in July, Chichester city centre welcomes a host of racegoers from far and wide, looking for pre and post racing hospitality and entertainment.
To celebrate this world famous event, which takes place here on our doorstep, the city centre will be holding various Glorious-themed events and campaigns throughout July, adding a little extra Goodwood glamour to the streets of Chichester.

Gallop around the Goodwood Racehorse Trail – from 1 July – 29 July
Take part in a special trail around the city centre to celebrate Glorious Goodwood. Simply look out for the hoof prints leading to each participating business and scan the QR code in the window using the LoyalFree App (free to download).
For everyone that completes the whole trail you will receive a special 2-for-1 offer on Lennox Enclosure tickets to The Qatar Goodwood Festival.
Once you complete the trail, an email will be sent to you within 1-7 days with the exclusive discount code to claim your 2-for-1 offer on tickets. T&Cs apply.
Each business will also be sharing Glorious-themed tips, tutorials, recipes and more over the month of July on social media – keep an eye on the Chichester BID and Goodwood social media channels to get advice on everything from what to wear and how to style your hair to the best post-racing summer cocktail recipes.
