‘What if women supported women, across continents, across industries and across every cup of coffee?
The Real Eating Co are doing just that. They have been buying their arabica coffee beans from a pioneering female-founded and female-run coffee farm in South West Minas Gerais, Brazil for some years now and together, as a female-founded coffee and cafe brand on the high street, they’re making this real female-founded business connection from farm to cafe. Helena Hudson, owner of the Real Eating Co, opened her first coffee shop in Chichester, followed by several more around the UK.
Not only is the coffee delicious, but Real Eating Co strongly believe in hand-crafted coffee. They’ve resisted the push towards automated machines, believing that a hand-crafted coffee will always bring the best out of the bean. And what more incentive do you need to try with a local trader 10% discount? Pop in and say hello to the team and their new manager, Filipa, a familiar face, who has recently joined the Real Eating Co from Zizzi’s.
