Chichester city centre will come alive with music, entertainment, shopping and family fun when the Summer Street Party returns on Sunday 5 July from 10am to 4pm.
Organised by Chichester District Council, the popular event transforms the city centre into a vibrant celebration of everything Chichester has to offer, with activities taking place throughout the day.
Fashion Show and Showcase
As part of the event, Chichester BID will once again be rolling out the red carpet for its Fashion Show and Showcase on North Street from 1pm to 2pm.
Hosted by singer and performer Dawn Gracie, the showcase will put the spotlight on a selection of city centre businesses, with fashion, accessories and lifestyle brands taking to the runway to inspire visitors with the latest summer trends.
Businesses taking part include New Look, Katie Loxton, Brook Taverner, WoolOvers and Sports Direct, showcasing everything from summer fashion and accessories to style inspiration for the season ahead.
The showcase is about more than fashion, however. Along the runway, Flapjackery, Hotel Chocolat and PizzaExpress will share tasters, promotions and special offers, helping to bring the city’s food and drink scene into the spotlight too.
Canopy on Crane Street
Meanwhile, colourful Crane Street, just off North Street, will provide a soundtrack to the celebrations, with Dawn Gracie performing live from 12pm to 1pm and again from 2pm to 4pm.
Between performances, visitors can enjoy the vibrant sounds of Chichester’s Steel Pan Duo from 1pm to 2pm, creating a carnival atmosphere in one of the city’s most distinctive shopping streets.

Cross Market & More Market
Visitors can also browse the Cross Market & More Market on East Street and North Street, where city centre businesses including Lush and Sweets on Southgate will be hosting stalls throughout the day.
