Plan your festive shopping around Chichester’s array of outdoor and indoor Christmas Markets

Chichester city centre will host a series of traditional Christmas Markets in 2025 to add some festive cheer to its already wonderful array of shopping and dining experiences.

Christmas markets are a great opportunity to meet local artisans, support the community and create precious memories with your loved ones.

Whether you’re searching for that perfect gift or simply want to soak in the joyful festive atmosphere, Chichester’s Festive Markets are a must-visit.

The Chichester Festive Market, 6 – 7 & 13 – 14 December

Chichester’s main Christmas Market presented by Chichester District Council will take over East and North Street on 6 – 7 and 13 – 14 December. A wide variety of stalls selling Christmas gifts and novelties will be accompanied by a mouth-watering selection of festive food and drink from local vendors. Opening Times: 9:00am – 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.

A delightful array of smaller Christmas markets will also take place in Chichester this year, each with their own unique charm:

Thursday 13 – Sunday 16 NovemberThe Rare Brands Christmas Market is taking place over four days at The Barn Chichester on East Street. Providing shoppers with wonderfully unique Christmas shopping and a wonderful array of RARE brands. It opens at 4.00pm on Thursday 13 November, with free admission, food and wine tasting until 8.00pm. The market continues Friday to Sunday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Friday 21 November, 5 December and 19 December – The twice-monthly Chichester Farmers’ Market  hosts a wonderful selection of local produce and unique gifts to help you prepare for the big day.

Sunday 30 November, 11am – 3pm – Enjoy the popular Open House and Christmas Mini Market at Edes House on West Street.

Sunday 7 December, 10am –2pm – Discover a wonderful Indoor Christmas Market at The Novium Museum, Tower Street. Local stallholders will be selling festive arts, crafts and gifts suitable for the whole family. Free entry.

Saturday 13, 10am – 5pm and Sunday 14 December, 10am – 4pm – Vintage and Very Nice returns to the city with a two-day Christmas Extravaganza at the Assembly Rooms on North Street

Sunday 14 December, 10am – 2pm – Chichester Creatives Christmas Market at The Duke & Rye. Explore a treasure trove of delightful gifts, crafted by talented local makers.
