To Celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Chichester BID alongside Chichester Cathedral is hosting a free community get-together on the Cathedral Green on Friday 3rd June from 12.00 – 3.00pm.
With Jubilee themed craft activities, face-painting, live entertainment, scrumptious ice cream from Pinks Parlour and a presence from local radio station V2, everyone is invited to come along and enjoy meeting up and relaxing with friends and family in the heart of our historic city centre.
Bring a picnic, or take advantage of some of the special Jubilee meal deals several of our city centre eateries are putting on to mark the occasion. From scrumptious cream teas to traditional Ploughman’s, there’s something for everyone to enjoy tucking into.

Spectacular Scenes
Chichester will be looking resplendent throughout the Summer with a wonderful display of official Jubilee and Union Jack flags as well as street bunting and an increase in planting across the city including some special planters inspired by the Jubilee celebrations created by Bunch Florist on West Street.
In addition, with the return of the Festival of Flowers and to unite all the businesses over the Jubilee, we are challenging local businesses to put their best creative foot forward and take part in a window competition with a fabulous flower theme. Look out for these stunning window displays during June, they will make the city a joy to stroll through.

And finally, for our younger visitors, we have an exciting and completely free augmented reality Jubilee story trail running from 30 April – 11 June.
