The fun doesn’t end when Chichester’s Christmas lights come on! Venues across Chichester will be keeping the celebrations going well into the evening with Light Up Chichester: The After Party.
Expect live music, mulled wine, mince pies and festive entertainment hosted by some of the city’s favourite hospitality spots. It’s the perfect way to round off a day of community spirit and Christmas cheer – and a wonderful reminder of why Chichester shines so brightly at this time of year.
East Quarter of the City
The celebrations continue in the East Quarter with live tunes and festive flavours:
- The Hole in the Wall, St Martin’s – Live DJ sets and warming mulled wine.
- Little Monster Tap, The Hornet – Catch Ali & The Blue Ridge Band from 7pm, alongside mulled cider and a friendly local crowd.
- Brasserie Blanc, Eastgate – Mulled Wine and Black Forest Hot Chocolates served all day, to drink in or take away.
North Quarter of the City
From music to mince pies, the North Quarter has you covered:
- The Ghost at the Feast, North Street – Enjoy live music throughout the evening in this stylish setting.
- The Old Cross, North Street – Grab a cup of mulled wine to take away before and after the lights switch-on.
- George & Dragon, North Street – Relax by the roaring fire with mulled wine, speciality hot chocolates, and a free jukebox to keep the tunes flowing.
- Fernleigh, North Street – Pegasus Pizzas served from 4.30pm and 2-for-1 cocktails until late – a perfect combo!
- The Escapist, Crane Street – Live music from 7.30pm and plenty of indie beer for good measure.
West Quarter of the City
Music, magic and a touch of sparkle await in the West Quarter:
- Chichester Cathedral, West Street – Experience A Night at the Opera by Candlelight with the London Concertante from 7.30pm (booking required).
- Duke & Rye, West Street – A festive DJ set, mulled wine and mince pies make for the ultimate Christmas warm-up.
- The Chichester Inn, West Street – Get into the spirit with Christmas carols, mulled wine, and mince pies – and don’t forget your Christmas jumper!
South Quarter of the City
South Street and Southgate come alive with music and festive menus:
- The Foundry, Southgate – A festive menu, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine and cheese offer, plus a live DJ.
- Trents, South Street – Mulled wine and hot chocolate served all day (to drink in or take away), with live music from 7pm.
- Room 12, Southgate – Christmas cocktails and acoustic music from 8–9.30pm, followed by Legend Has It playing hits through the decades from 9.30pm–midnight.
- The Fountain, South Street – Live music from 9pm by Outatime, with mulled wine served all day.
- The Chantry, South Street – Step inside and visit the Ice Cave for a magical festive experience.
