Beauty Secrets has deep roots in the Chichester area, where our founder, Beryl Martin, first built her working life. Before opening her own salon, Beryl worked in several local roles, including at the well-known Shippam’s Paste as a PA to Miss Shippam, forming strong connections within the community that would later shape her business.
After training as a beauty therapist and gaining valuable salon experience, Beryl opened her first Beauty Secrets salon in West Sussex in 1985. What began as a small, home-based business quickly grew through word of mouth and loyal local clients into the award-winning, family-run group of five salons we have today.
Although our family later moved slightly inland into West Sussex, our heritage has always remained firmly on the South Coast, with Chichester at the heart of our story. That sense of local pride, personal service and genuine care continues to define everything we do.
Today, Beauty Secrets is led by Beryl’s daughter, Karen, alongside a dedicated management team. Our highly trained therapists create bespoke treatments for every client, always focused on delivering exceptional results and outstanding care, proudly continuing a legacy that began right here on the South Coast.
